We meet on Tuesday nights during school “term Times” and begin gathering from 7.15pm with rehearsals beginning promptly at 7.45 pm.

We have about 45 members and limit our numbers because of space. We are filling our rehearsal space and we are also limited by the space available to perform at our various venues.

You are welcome to attend a rehearsal or two if you are interested in joining us. This gives you the possibility of seeing how we work and if you would like to join us. If possible you can begin right away although you may be asked to wait until the beginning of the next joining period. It is not easy to join any choir part way through rehearsing for a concert as it leaves you at a major disadvantage. You will be added to our waiting list and contacted again to see if you are still interested at an appropriate time.

The Family Centre is on the corner of Ardleigh Green Rd and Michael Gardens - directly opposite All Saints” on the map. (Please do not park in All Saints Car Park) The address is 165 Ardleigh Green Road, Hornchurch RM11 2LF

Rehearsals

The choir rehearses at the Ardleigh Green Family Centre (opposite All Saints Church) in Hornchurch, Essex on Tuesday evening from 7.45pm to 10pm. We try to be there by 7.30pm to begin promptly at 7.45pm.

Parking
Please do not park in the Church car park opposite.

Our repertoire is varied and is sure to include; songs from the shows both old and new, medleys of popular songs and carols at Christmas, both traditional and original.

Our programme of concerts will include at least two fixed "seasons" - Christmas Concerts and Summer Concerts.

Costs

As the group is self financing, a fee is payable and will be collected on a 'termly' basis. We work on three terms in a year.
The cost of subscription is:
£40.00 per term (approx. 13 weeks).
The termly subscription can be payed in two instalments if required by a member. Please speak to club treasurer.

The subscription pays for the hire of the rehearsal space, all our music, our website name and server space and other rehearsal resources.
